We've introduced a range of new capabilities across Sesimi to make planning more flexible, strengthen content governance, and give teams greater visibility across Funds, Reporting and Digital Asset Management.

New Feature Highlights

More Flexible Fund Management

Managing claims across shared budgets is now considerably easier.

Reviewers can now reject or revert documents directly from the preview screen, streamlining the claims approval process.

Additional improvements include support for submitting and reimbursing claims across multiple funds, along with improved reporting and reviewer flow through the addition of the Second Eyes reviewer column.

Together, these updates simplify complex funding workflows while reducing manual administration.

Improved Datablock Functionality

View Datablock history and revert to previous versions, giving teams greater control over changes to structured content. 

Datablocks now provide significantly more control over structured content.

Administrators can view complete version history, restore previous versions, set availability windows so assets are available on a template at the right time, export and import Datablocks as JSON, duplicate Datablocks with their existing records, and restrict asset visibility by team or individual users.

Moreover, there has been a set of improvents to user interface, including in-cell editing improving usability, and speed of editing data.

Together, these improvements make Datablocks easier to use, govern, recover, and manage at scale.

Richer Reporting and Template Insights

Reporting has become more flexible across the platform.

Report presets can now be saved, renamed and reused, automatically restoring preferred column layouts. Activity Reports can also be generated directly from Collections and Asset Search results.

Template Builder now includes a Template Usage Report, showing how often each template is used and which field options are selected most frequently. This gives organisations clearer insight into template adoption and the content variations being used across their network.

Safer Asset Management

Digital Asset Management is now more flexible and easier to organise.

Collections now support three levels of nesting, making it easier to structure large asset libraries. Full folder paths are displayed when assigning collections to assets, reducing ambiguity when similar collection names exist. Documents like PDF files can also now be filtered as a recognised asset type alongside existing creative assets, while deleted assets move to a Recently Deleted area before permanent removal.

Nested Collections and full folder paths make it easier to organise assets and select the correct location across complex content libraries.

Assets can also be shared using a permanent link that always points to the latest approved version, making it easier to distribute content with confidence while ensuring users always access the most up-to-date asset.

These improvements make large asset libraries easier to organise while providing greater protection against accidental data loss.
