Volkswagen of America annually sells more than 320,000 cars across its network of more than 600 dealers. Volkswagen globally recognizes the power of brand and invest heavily in promoting the brand virtues and brand equity.
Across the group, VWoA wanted a single platform for their Co-op program to address:

Expediting Processing of Dealers' Claims
Dealers wanted their Co-op funding and payments approved and distributed faster allowing them to re-invest in future campaigns. -
Advertising Compliance
VWoA wanted to ensure that all advertising by Dealers was compliant with the global brand guidelines and VWoA's specific campaigns to ensure greater consistency and awareness in market.
VWoA wanted to deliver the above and have greater visibility of the overall program, activity, and how funds were being distributed.
The Solution
VWoA implemented Sesimi’s Funds Management module to address these challenges.
Key Actions Taken:
- Compliance Review: Dealers were given access to the Funds Management portal to lodge their assets for review to ensure their local area activities aligned with the overall brand guidelines and campaign strategy.
- Co-Op payments: Dealers could then append to the approved creatives evidence of their local area marketing distribution for review.
Sesimi and VWoA was able to roll out and gain rapid adoption of the platform due to the usability of the platform, ability to configure to VWoA's unique requirements, and VWoA's ability to make faster Co-Op payments.
